John Duval is a legendary name. As only the third winemaker to be entrusted with the making of Australia’s most famous wine, Grange, John worked for Penfolds for 28 years (including 16 years as chief winemaker) until his departure in 2002. He set out on his own with the 2003 vintage, sourcing fruit from some long-time friends in the Barossa.
