WHO?

The story of Trapan wines began in a small garage next to the family home. Later, the owners purchased land in the southernmost part of Istria, where they established a well-equipped wine cellar. From 2005 until today, the cellar has been upgraded in many ways while maintaining a high quality of products. Inside the winery cellar, there are exclusive areas for vinification, aging, and bottling. Additionally, there is a tasting room created for the complete enjoyment of visitors to Trapan wines. From 2005 until now, 12 hectares of organically pure vineyards have been established, and the knowledge and experience gained are transmitted through the cellar, creating fine and elegant wines with a specific character, recognizable for their special Mediterranean touch. Love, energy, and courage are the main driving forces of the Trapan winery.

Located in the enchanting wine region of Šišan, the Trapan winery is situated in the beautiful area of Istria. The estate is known for producing 100% organic Croatian wines. Everything about the region is mesmerizing – walking through spacious vineyards, being captivated by the rows of grapes with a glass of delicious wine in hand, are just some of the many stunning experiences you can enjoy.

WHY?

At first glance, quite dense. Dominated by a ruby red color, while a light sheen of purple gives it a characteristic personality. On the nose, a fruity aroma of raspberry, intertwined with the scent of violets, ending with a peppery, spicy, herbal complexity of Mediterranean herbs.
